In 2006, ABclonal was founded in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with the focus on CRO services for antibodies and the polypeptide synthesis.
In 2008, ABclonal initiated the Human Genome Antibody Library Research and Development Plan, using recombinant protein antigens to prepare more than 20,000 rabbit polyclonal target antibodies.
In 2011, ABclonal built an over 43,000 sq ft Research & Development Center in Biolake Base, Wuhan, China. Over 20,000 experimental animals are raised per year.
In 2016, ABclonal has listed a range of 10,000 catalog antibodies. The company raised over ten million dollars in Series A and B rounds of funding and built a new R&D center in Woburn, Massachusetts.
In 2017, we recruited a group of experienced molecular biologists and geneticists to our R&D team to spearhead the development of our NGS technology. Our goal is to develop the most innovative NGS kits while integrating bioinformatics platforms. It will help biomedical research and the discovery of biomarkers for human genetic and epigenetic diseases.
